Jonah told us "poopoo" after he woke up from his nap today. I checked his diaper and there was nothing in there. Jonathan went and got the potty because we've been saying how we wished he would tell us prior to actually going.
We set him on the potty and he peepee'd in the potty!

The block won...

Jonah and another boy were "fighting" over a block and Jonah got pushed down in the blocks.
Looks like the blocks won! His whole face has little red marks all over. The camera didn't pick them up well.

Hee Haw Valentine's
Our church put on a Hee Haw Valentine's banquet. It was a lot of fun. I discovered that I go to church with a bunch of crazy folks and that is perfectly ok with me!

Jonah got to open his Valentine's card during his morning diaper change! This is the first time he has opened a card and he acted like he knew exactly what to do! He as very happy to find a CAR valentine's inside. Unfortunately nascar was the only option I had... I hope I'm not setting myself up for a future full of nascar... Not sure I can take it!

Welcome Home Dada!
We made signs to welcome Jonathan home at the airport Thursday (2-12-09) We missed him soooo much and he missed us a lot too. Jonah really enjoyed coloring the signs for Dada's welcome home. I may have helped him a little with the words...
A day at Mamaw and Papaw's
We went to visit with Mamaw and Papaw this past weekend. Jonah had a good time, as usual! He loves to go out and play in their big, puppy-poop free backyard! He found an acorn that was the most glorious acorn ever! He stared at it for quite awhile and then tried to eat it. I had to chunk it back into the yard from whence it came to keep him from eating it...

Hello?
Jonah is such a talker. We can't understand everything but he is talking all the time.
He is trying to talk in my ear piece. He kept saying "Lo" for Hello.
Thursday (2-4-09) he said "Where's Dada" for the 1st time and last night he asked "Where's Papaw".
He's talking up a storm and learning new words everyday!

New Drum
Jonathan brought home a new drum last night and him and Jonah had some fun playing it.
Thank goodness the drum goes to church tomorrow where it will stay! The drum playing is quite loud!!!

Such a nice day!
I'm finally up to date on my blog!
We had such a nice warm day today! Jonah got to play around outside.
He had a great time until he took a nose dive into the neighbors ditch... Mommy just wasn't fast enough.
After a few tears and a busted lip he went right back to playing!
I guess I better put on my running shoes!
